First day of arrival

If you arrive by plane in Munich
The airport of Munich is the closes one to Deggendorf. If you arrive in Munich, you only have to travel the distance of 70 km North-East to come to Deggendorf. The easiest way to make that distance is by train. If you arrive in Munich, please ask the next information desk for the bus connection to Freising station. There, you should ask for a train to Deggendorf. You always need to change trains in Plattling, a town near Deggendorf. All in all it will take you about 2 hours to get to Deggendorf train station. The one-way ticket will cost you about 20 Euro (2nd class).

If you arrive by train in Deggendorf
The Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance away from Deggendorf train station. For those of you, who want to walk from the station to the university, we would like to describe the way briefly:

If you exit the train station and walk into the direction “Zentrum” you will soon come to a street crossing. There you can find a street, called “Hans-Krämer-Straße”. Please turn right and walk along that street in the direction of “Stadthalle”. Soon you will arrive at another big street crossing. Please walk straight over that crossing into the “Edlmairstraße”. After about 300 meters you should stand in front of the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences.

You could also go there by taxi. This will cost you about 5 Euro to get to the campus.
