The RIBA (Raising International Business Awareness) module is organised by Academy of Management & Business  in the first semester of the academic year (1’st of September – 1’st of February), is characterized by the following aspects:

o The module consists of 7 courses.
o In total, 30 ECTS are offered.
o The module is open to domestic and foreign students, as to allow both parties to be involved in internationalisation and to meet different cultures.
o The module is open to 3rd and 4th year students as the courses offered are of an intermediate/advanced level. Students should at least have acquired basics knowledge of accounting, economics, marketing and management before participating in RIBA. Students taking part in these courses are presumed to have some experience in project/team work.
o The students participating should have the English level B1-B2 (international standard) and should be able to work with Word, Access, Excel and the internet (search engines and email).
o The RIBA module at Academy of Management & Business has a strong emphasis on knowledge-based business. The core courses are concentrated on achieving the aim of the module: how do companies compete in industries where the knowledge and innovation are key to success, how do managers develop and implement strategies in such industries, what are the success factors for sustainable competitive advantage.  The purpose is to discuss the advanced development strategies that take into account information and communication technology, knowledge-based infrastructure, innovation and emphases the computaional intelligence methods as prerequisites for in-depth exploration into the adaptive mechanisms that enable intelligent behaviour in complex and changing environments. 
o Also, there is the course of a new form of organization, which is the consequence of forming the information society. The course is called "Virtual Organizations" which aims to highlight the differences of management of a virtual organizations and of a traditional enterprise and present the specifics of personnel management of virtual organizations. The supporting courses such as "Marketing Strategy for Entering an Emerging Market" focuses on marketing specifics in emerging markets because every company has to understand an environment of the market, evaluate market size and competitors a well as partners. Another course "Finance Tools" deals with key financial and economic actualities of Lithuanian enterprises. Because of the globalization, it is necessary to get a better understanding of cross-cultural interaction in terms of business ethics. The course "Business Ethics" is designed especially for you. It is based on interdisciplinary approach to ethical problems in the public and private sectors.
o The aim is to prepare business leaders who are able to compete in knowledge-based environment.
